Class Description

ABSOLUTE BEGGINERS SERIES – ABS

Intrigued by yoga? Not sure where to begin? Not flexible? Join us for this simple, step-by-step yoga workshop designed exclusively for new yoga students.

In this straight-forward and supportive workshop environment, you will be introduced to the basics of yoga and gain confidence to attend a Beginner Level 1 and Beginner Level 2 classes!

• learn basic yoga postures
• art and benefits of breathing
• correct positioning
• how to incorporate props into your practice

We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing when practicing yoga.

 

 BEGINNER 1

This class will dive deep into all asanas with a non-aggressive approach and moderate pace which allows you to dissolve into a more open, graceful body and relax into a steady mind. This class is open to all levels, but due to the slower tempo it is appropriate for beginners as well.

 

BEGINNER 2

This class explores the beginning stages of advanced poses while keeping a focus on developing stamina and flexibility. After learning the basics, we concentrate on jumping forward and back in sun salutations, binding, explore challenging asanas, arm balances, inversions, and more vigorous sequences. An ongoing practice is recommended.

 

MORNING YOGA

Practicing yoga in the mornings is guaranteed to start your day with a boost of positive energy. Your body will be awoken by inspiring sounds of mantras played in class and your body will develops strength, coordination, flexibility and breath awareness through this simple variations of yoga poses.

You may combine morning and evening practice to reach your best results

 

MAMA YOGA

Prepare for labor by maintaining flexibility in the muscles as well as building strength to ensure an easier labor and post-partum recovery.

 

YOGA KIDS

This class encourage children to use their bodies, minds, senses and imaginations as teachers engage and educate their entire beings. This dynamic approach stimulates each of these levels, while respecting the developmental and individual needs of each child.

 

PRIVATE LESSONS

If your schedule does not permit you to attended any of our class or you feel that you need help working on some poses, we can arrange a private session at any time that is convenient for you!

ASHTANGA VINYASA

If your goal is to get into shape fast, you want to loose the extra pounds and really sweet it out in class: we recommend that you attended this class!

A flowing class that integrates breath and movement, inner and outer alignment, strength and flexibility accompanied by music. Our classes are ritual journeys that respond to the changing needs of urban life by infusing the highest quality of teaching with a transformative approach to yoga.
